Camp “Kimama Hof” (In Hebrew- Kimama Beach) is a new unique summer camp at “Neurim” Youth Beach (near Beit Yanai) on the Mediterranean coast for sea and nature enthusiasts who enjoy thrilling activities.
Kimama has created a perfect week-long experience that combines social and educational activities with marine sports, in accommodation just a hop skip and jump away from the Mediterranean. A variety of marine activities including surfing, sports sessions and other challenging activities such as team building and camping and more, await you. This is an opportunity to experience a shorter summer camp while still enjoying all the exciting worlds that Kimama has to offer.
Unlike the two-week long summer camps at Michmoret and the Carmel, Kimama Beach summer camp is just a week long, so that you enjoy all the Kimama fun in a shorter time and at an affordable cost. At this camp, rather than choosing a specialized track, campers enjoy a wonderful combination of all the exciting activities that the beautiful Neurim Youth Village has to offer. Accommodation is at the “Neurim” facility in standard camp rooms with toilets and showers. The camp is suitable for all ages, grades 1 – 12 and campers are divided into groups according to age.
Educational program
Campers are divided in four groups (Kimamaian tribes) according to age. The educational program is based on the Kamima spirit and is specifically tailored to each group (tribe):
Cocoon  campers who have finished grades 1-3. Theme: Friendship
Maya  campers who have finished grades 4-6. Theme: Around the Globe
Inca  campers who have finished grades 7-8. Theme: “You and I” – Peoplehood
LIT  campers who have finished 9th grade and above. Theme: Leadership

Open Up Your Child’s World to Israel And To Lasting International Friendships
More than just a summer camp, Camp Kimama will introduce your child to multiple cultures and languages and offer real, long-lasting friendships with Jewish children from around the world! Here, kids strengthen their independence, leadership skills, and personal development. And oh yes—deepen their bond and love for Israel!
Each year for the past decade, Camp Kimama has hosted thousands of kids ages 7-17 from 40 countries around the world!

Why Summer Camp?
Sleep-away summer camp is the ultimate experience for kids! Only at this camp environment, they can spend 24 hours with their favorite people (other kids from all over the world!), do the things they love best (sports, music, art, and fun), discover new things about themselves (independence, freedom, leadership), make new social connections, and most of all, be in a fun and safe environment, far from their parents, so that they have someone to miss at the end of it all!

So, for those sea lovers who enjoy challenges and empowering, meaningful experiences to remember forever, Kimama Hof is for you!

Location of the International Summer Camp “Kimama Hof”
The “Kimama Hof” facility is located at Hadassah-Neurim youth village on the shores of Beit Yanai.
The beautiful facility lies just a 30 minute drive north of Tel Aviv.
The camp is close to the Alexander River National Park, a spectacular nature reserve which ends at the river estuary where the water flows into the Mediterranean.
Campers coming to camp “Kimamh Hof” facility will enjoy a swimming pool, a modern theater that seats 700 spectators, a dance studio, air-conditioned halls and activity rooms, a fully-equipped music room, a soccer field and mini-soccer field, a clean dining room that can accommodate all the campers, green spacious lawns, shaded seating areas and more. The access path to the beach is closed off and guarded, and only during marine activities is the access path opened.  While on the beach, campers are accompanied at all times by camp counselors and water sport professionals.
Activity rooms
During the hottest hours of the day the campers have at their disposal large spacious rooms where workshops and various activities are held. All the rooms are air-conditioned and contain drink machines. The rooms are also equipped with the range of equipment needed for the workshops.
 Dining Hall
The large dining hall is located inside the facility, and is run and maintained by a professional team. The campers receive three full meals a day of the foods that kids love, and all of which are tasty, nutritious and healthy with a taste of home. The diverse and rich menu is supervised by the camp nutritionist. Light refreshments of fruit or snacks are served twice a day. Please let us know in advance if you have any food restrictions so we can prepare accordingly.

The air-conditioned rooms are clean and tidy with 3-6 beds in each room and adjacent shower and toilet. Camp counselors sleep in the same building as the campers in adjacent rooms and are on call throughout the night should the campers need them. Campers need to bring bedding and a sleeping bag.
The clinic at the youth village is maintained by a medic who is on call to respond to any medical need 24 hours a day. If necessary, the campers will be treated by a nurse or doctor and if needed will be evacuated to the close-by hospital in Netanya. We are extremely strict concerning exposure to the sun, and hygiene. An abundance of drinking fountains are scattered throughout the village.
The maritime village is in a closed fenced off area with locked gates, and is fully protected by a security guard at all times that controls who comes in and out of the facility.
During camp we do not allow entry into the facility without advance coordination.
Safety – surfing activity
Outings to the beach are well organized and coordinated in advance with the camp management staff, the security staff and the team of camp counselors. Campers do not have the possibility to leave the boundaries of camp and go to the beach on their own. Our counselors also give campers detailed safety instructions before going to the beach.
Activities will take place in small groups with the close supervision of counselors and the tight control of the camp directors in accordance with Ministry of Education regulations.

1st-3rd grade graduates: Cocoon Tribe, Color:Blue
Cocoon tribe’s activities are all together, as one tribe – not divided into groups as in other tribes at the camp.
We believe that it is important that at all ages, the youngest in particular, personal attention is given. Therefore, this age group is guaranteed to have a ratio of one staff member for every four campers at most. The counselors of this age group are in attendance at all hours of the day – to help them with their chores such as tidying the rooms, personal hygiene (showers, brushing teeth, changing clothes, changing bedding and organizing washing) and to ensure that the campers are given the attention they need. In this manner we are able to create an integrated group, in which campers are given an opportunity to express themselves and their abilities and will feel they are being taken care of, just like at home…

4th-6th grade graduates: Maya Tribe, color: Red
Maya tribe is divided into groups: In each group there are between 10 and 15 campers and several staff members. There are both boys and girls in each group with separate rooming. The counselors of this age group are in attendance at all hours of the day – to help them with their chores such as tidying the rooms and personal hygiene and ensure that campers are given the attention they need. In this manner we are able to create an integrated group, in which campers are given an opportunity to express themselves, their abilities, and will feel they are being taken care of, just like at home.

7th-8th grade graduates: Inca Tribe, color: Yellow
The Inca tribe is divided into groups of 10-15 campers with two counselors for each group. The groups are mixed, each group has boys and girls and the rooming is separate. This age group makes up a third of the number of campers at Kimama summer camps; it is a large, excellent, integrated group!

9th grade graduates and up: LIT Tribe, Color: White
Leaders in Training- Educational program – Leadership
New trip for LIT tribe in Kimama – An exciting unforgettable trip to Zetfat!
Kimama is an extraordinary opportunity to have new experiences, and to get to know, and live with other teenagers from all over the world. Two weeks, far from home, without Facebook or iPhones, strong ties are made between the Israeli campers and those who come from abroad; connections that your teens will have for many years to come. This age group at Camp Kimama enjoys their last year of campers activities as they will subsequently attend the counselor course – they get to be the elders of camp this year.
This age group is called LIT – Leaders in Training, and the program prepares them to be leaders; leaders at camp, leaders in their communities. This program offers many activities and discussions on the topic of leadership in the Jewish community and in Israel, leaders in the world, what leadership is, and how it may be used as a positive influence on society, contributing and giving, etc.
In the framework of this program, the campers assist the counselors of the younger age groups, organize events at camp, and serve as role models in all that they do.
How does it work?
The LIT campers are not divided into groups, but live at camp as a single, multi-cultural integrated group. They have four staff members who are responsible for their educational and experiential activities, and together they lead the camp. After concluding the LIT summer in Kimama, campers will be entitled to participate in the CIT program, which prepares them to be counselors at Kimama.
