Avishay Nachon, Entrepreneur and Educator. Has been heavily involved over the last two decades as a leader in social programs, managerial roles, training and consulting as well as creation and organization of unique educational projects in Israel and worldwide.Nachon, holds an MA in Labor Studies and a BA in Education Policy and Management, as well as a degree in Conducting and Composition, from the University of Tel Aviv, Israel. currently, Avishay serves as CEO and owner of Camp Kimama – Educational projects. and international summer camp programs for Jewish Youths from around the world.
Masters degree in Business & Organizational Consultancy from Tel Aviv University Bachelor degree in Psychology from Herzilia Interdisciplinary College Head of Israeli delegation at "Ramah" summer camps in New York under auspices of The Jewish Agency. Started Camp "Sunrise" in Israel for children with cancer. Over many years, Tami was employed by Kimama in varied positions in Israel and New York. From December 2015 started full time in this senior management position in Kimama
Alon is director of operations during the summer, as well as for all Kimama projects over the course of the year. He joined Kimama in the summer of 2005, and since then has served in many different positions, including counselor, coordinator, assistant camp director, and more.
Yasmin holds a BA in Childhood, Education and Culture from the University of Leeds, England. She made Aliya in 2009 and joined Kimama in 2010. In addition to Kimama Yasmin has been involved with numerous other educational programs and projects within Israel and abroad.
Graduated from Sapir Academic College, Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
Worked in a few Ad agencies in Israel before joining Kimama in 2015 as a Marketing Manager
Graduate of Weitzman Institute with a Masters in Chemistry, Earth science and planetary research. She has a wide range of instructor experience, including with the Israeli Scouts of Tel Aviv, with the IDF and experience as a counselor and unit head at the Ilan Ramon Science and Astronomy Camp. In addition, Efrat has been a counselor with the JNF and today continues to counsel at the Davidson Institute (the educational branch of the Weitzman Institute). Efrat joined the Kimama staff in 2007 and has enjoyed working in many positions throughout the different camps.
I am 30 years old. I grew up in Manof, a small community north of Haifa. I hold a B.A. in Social Work from the Academic and Technology College of Tel -Hai. I am a big believer in education and the love of humanity, and has always been involved in informal education. In recent years, I have been working with youth in Israel's social geographical periphery. I joined Kimama in the Summer of 2013, and since then has worked in a variety of roles, from a counselor, through a lead coordinator to director of programming last summer I was the camp director of our first summer camp in NY. I strive to drive change through education. To experience new things every day that make learn and grow, and most importantly to enjoy the journey!
Noali Miron, holds a B.A in political science and management from Ben Gurion University. Noali is passionate about education and social activism. She has been involved in many educational programs, runs women's group and has led activities for residents of the local authorities.
Noali joined kimama in summer 2015 and since then has worked in a variety of roles as a counselor and unit head at kimama Galim and Skimama and as a unit head and deputy director at kimama Michmoret.
For Noali, Kimama is an experience of both social and cultural benefits, a platform for genuine human connections and an opportunity for self-growth.
At Kimama we give our campers the freedom to grow, hand in hand with their enjoyment, providing them with a liberating place for personal empowerment.
She really believe in what Kimama is and does, plus the life changing effect on the children.
Rachel has a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Masters degree in Administration. After a long career in public education, she worked as the Educational Director for SFK, an international non-profit organization. It is through this work where she met Camp Kimama, bringing the children from SFK to experience the fun and adventure Kimama offers. After being a friend and supporter for over 10 years, Rachel joined our team to help build and grow the our Manhattan office and outreach to current and potential campers throughout the United States.
A graduate of the "Mesu'ot" Tzofim tribe. Spent a year in London doing Sherut on behalf of the Tzifom and the Jewish Agency
Dana was a counselor at a summer camp in Colorado, and in 2016 started making her way in Kimama. In her first year she was an LIT counselor in Kimama Galim, and a unit-head the following year, a position which she will continue this summer as well
A graduate of the "Amit Shaham" Tzofim tribe. Started as a counselor at Kimama Michmoret in 2009 and as worked with us in various positions ever since. Ben was also a science and cooking instructor at schools and after-school programs in the Tel Aviv area
